Happy Valentines’s Day!! This year I decided a Valentines DIY Heart Feature Wall would be fun to do in my daughters room. She’s five, loves Valentine’s and the beauty of this project is that the decals can stay up all year long. It was super easy and took only 30 mins. I used gold and silver heart shaped decals that easily stick to the wall. No stencils, no paint, no clean up. Just peel and stick, it was that easy. I did however use a level to get the rows as straight as possible. The package came with a stencil that looked super easy to use but my hearts were just set wider then the stencil (otherwise I totally would have used it). I love that they just stick on the wall without leaving a residue or taking off the paint, I know this because I readjusted multiple times (insert husbands eye roll here lol). You can see the before and after below.
I found the decorative decals at Canadian Tire, they are part of their CANVAS line. Good news boy moms, there are cute Aztec triangles and pine trees as well.
