Hey Guys!
Just popping in to tell you about a fun little flower workshop I went to last week. I have always been a huge fan of organically styled flower arrangements so when Janna for Wildernis offered one I signed up right away! The style is reminiscent of a romantic English garden with a natural flow and organic feeling. The workshop lasted about 1.5 – 2 hours, she offered a sweet platter of snacks, beverages, instructions and all of the materials (vase, foam, scissors, flowers and filler). We used a number of different flowers and bunches of foliage to layer our arrangements with colour, texture, height and rhythm. The flowers and filler in my romantic English style arrangement include Leucadendron, Queen Anne’s lace, Vendela roses, Quicksand roses, Privet berries, Anthurium, Pine, Cedar, Foraged grasses and New Zealand pittosporum . I have always adored flowers but my love just grew a little deeper.
I love supporting small local businesses so if you are in the Simcoe County area I suggest you check out Wildernis in person or her Instagram.
