Hey Friends!
As you may or may not know we have a little one on the way so I decided to make some changes to our current bedroom arrangement. Luckily, my office features a focal wall full of detailed trim work and the entire room is a beautiful mature pink so it was obvious that my daughter would move into that space and the little one into a smaller room. I knew that I would be making a few updates to her decor by this time anyway so it all sort of worked out. This time around I decided to go with a pink and green complementary scheme to elevate the palette and make it more modern, mature, still child friendly but able to grow with her. I also knew more patterns and colour was necessary, if she could have a room completely decorated in a rainbow she would! Moving into a slightly smaller room then what she was in and growing (which means larger clothes) meant that furniture would change because her needs have. In the concepts below you will notice I opted for two larger nightstands (4 drawer dressers) rather then a typical dresser to save space while still getting the storage she needs. By using larger nightstands means lots of room to play and move on either side of the bed while the room still maintains an airy symmetrical feel. I have put together a few different style mood boards using pink and green inspirational images and actual products. I hope you enjoy this Pink and Green Girls Bedroom Inspiration!
The room is just about finished and I am so excited to reveal it so stay tuned. In the mean time feel free to hop over to my office tour here to get an idea of how versatile this space actually is.

I can’t wait to see the final reveal! I loved the little snap you posted on Instagram. I think the colours you chose are the perfect way to create a whimsical and fun space for a little girl while also leaving room to bring in some more sophisticated pieces as she grows up.
