Hey Friends!
Here’s a quick and easy DIY holiday ornament project for you to do on your own or with kids. These stars are great for making a simple 3D minimalist tree decoration or you can add to your existing ones. They are super easy to make, affordable, you can use any colour you like, and there is no brush required. I chose to use white paint but I can see this being fun for a kids tree in the full rainbow. Originally I thought about filling the ornaments with white sparkling sugar sprinkles but that would have been too heavy so I opted for paint instead. I have also seen the fillable classic ball ornament shape if that works better for your design. There’s no brush required as you just have to fill and shake to coat the inside of the ornament.
Here’s what you need:
Clear Fillable Ornaments
Paint
Jute Twine, Ribbon, or Hooks
Scissors
STEP 1: SELECT FILLABLE ORNAMENTS STEP 2: SELECT PAINT STEP 3: FILL ORNAMENT 1/3, COVER OPENING WITH THUMB AND SHAKE UNTIL ENTIRE ORNAMENT IS COATED. LET DRY WITHOUT CAP FOR 24HRS+ STEP 4: CUT STRINGS TO DESIRED LENGTH STEP 5: CAP ORNAMENTS STEP 6: KNOT STRING AND LOOP THROUGH CAP
There you go! A quick and easy DIY ornament you can craft in no time.
